Deriva

Deriva is a free music radio that starts from one song you love and drifts away from it, artist by artist, towards music you have never heard. The welcome page turns that idea into a journey: scrolling is drifting. A camera travels along a dashed path through the dark, past the stations of a real drift, each one saying why it was picked. At the end it rises over an open sea made of every song people have played on Deriva, counted live. Turn the sound on and it becomes a radio: each station plays its 30-second preview, then moves on by itself. Type any song and the drift rebuilds from it. Built with a custom WebGL2 renderer (no framework, no three.js), Web Audio crossfades and a real preloader. Type is Instrument Serif and Inter. A still, fully readable version is served for reduced motion and screen readers. Made by Rodolfo Gallucci (erregi) with AI, orchestrated with love.
