In working on the website, it was important for us not just to compile a catalogue of paintings, but to convey the author’s personality, her view of the world, and the meanings that are born in each work. In the design, we wanted to preserve the sense of air and space, so that nothing would distract from the main thing — the paintings. But at the same time, we wanted to make the website expressive through typography, interesting compositions, and details.
