The website-cartoon "Mermaids dwell in the still waters" is a project inspired by Slavic mythology, legends about mermaids and my love for these fairy tales. Plot: The story is narrated from the perspective of a village boy. As a child, he loved listening to his grandfather's stories about underwater undead creatures that once inhabited their lake. Spending all his free time reading books and studying myths and legends, the boy desperately dreamed of meeting a mermaid. But as years passed, his belief in these stories began to fade — and so did his vigilance...
